Real bulk buyers already have their own sources and their own stolen bases. They do not need to buy 50 CVVs from an anonymous seller who cannot provide a proof of live balance or a refund policy.
Scammers know that a new seller will test the waters with one or two cards. They steal those cards, use them, and move to the next seller. In this market, the only person who earns money is the one selling victim card data, not the person who provides it.

State charges can stack as well. Many US states have identity theft statutes that add several years to a prison term, plus fines that exceed any possible CVV sale profit. The federal sentencing guidelines treat carding as a serious crime, especially when the dollar volume of attempted fraud crosses the enhanced threshold.

Buyers with undercover credentials often ask sellers to verify a card from a specific bank. That verification requires the seller to interface with the bank's payment gateway, which logs the IP address and device fingerprint of the person submitting the check.
Once law enforcement connects that request to your Telegram or forum account, they can serve a legal order to the messaging service. Many carding platforms have already cooperated with US agencies in published investigations. The anonymous screen name does not hide you from a subpoena.
The threshold for an arrest is lower than you think. Federal agents can charge you simply for advertising stolen CVV data, without completing a single sale. The attempt alone counts as a crime under federal conspiracy and attempt statutes.
Some sellers point to the fact that they never receive a payout or never ship a working card, claiming the buyer was a scammer. That is not a defense. Law enforcement files charges based on your offer, your intent, and your control over stolen data, not on whether the buyer paid you.
An entrapment defense rarely works. Officers may provide the opportunity to commit a crime, but they do not pressure or force you to send stolen data. Anything you send on your own violates the law, and a judge will see the choice as yours.
Stop messaging anyone who seems interested in buying. Delete the ad only after recording the date and platform, because deletion without preserving evidence can look like obstruction later.
