Why I Can't Write This Guide
A CVV is the three or four digit verification code printed on a payment card. It exists to prove the person entering card details physically holds the card. Buying, selling, or trading CVV numbers with card numbers is card fraud, and in the United States it falls under 18 U.S.C. 1029, which covers trafficking in unauthorized access devices. Writing a review of shops that sell them, or a step by step buying guide, would be helping readers commit a federal crime. I won't do that.
What Happens to Buyers, Not Just Sellers
People assume only the operators of these shops face charges. Buyers get prosecuted too. Card numbers circulated on fraud markets are usually already flagged, and card issuers and processors watch them. Law enforcement runs monitored card ranges specifically to trace who uses them. A purchase that looks anonymous at the time often becomes evidence later, and it is paired with payment trails, device fingerprints, and shipping records.

You Also Lose Money in Most Cases
The market itself is built on cheating its own customers. Cards sold in bulk are frequently dead, already maxed out, or belong to test accounts. Sellers disappear, take crypto payments, and offer no recourse. There is no consumer protection, no chargeback, and no support channel. The buyer has no legal standing to complain about a fraudulent purchase.
