A darknet CVV acquisition site is an illegal storefront that sells stolen payment card numbers with the three or four digit security code attached. Buying from one is a federal crime in the United States. No legal seller of another person's card number and CVV exists. None of this is a normal purchase, and no part of it comes with recourse.

What a CVV is

Visa, Mastercard and Discover print a three digit code on the back of the card. American Express prints four digits on the front. The code exists to show that the physical card is in hand. Merchants that run card-not-present transactions ask for it. Stolen card numbers without a CVV fail at online checkout.

How these markets operate

Most sites run automated shops. A buyer deposits cryptocurrency, picks a card by country, bank and balance, then receives the record. Sellers advertise dumps (magstripe data), fullz (name, address, SSN and card data), and CVV-only listings. Inventory gets resold many times. Card issuers cancel compromised numbers, so a large share of listings are dead on arrival. Some shops are outright scams that take deposits and deliver nothing.
